Philanthropy Events
Gamma Upsilon chapter of Delta Gamma is partnered with Envision located in Downtown Wichita. Envision's main focus is to build self-esteem, improve interpersonal skills and establish friendships with children who have visual impairments.
Each month we hold events that allow our sisters to interact one-on-one with the children. In past years we have created events specifically designed for teens to provide a network of support as they face common problems encountered by teenagers with disabilities.
EVENTS INCLUDE:
- Halloween Party
- Christmas Party
- Movie Nights
- Anchor Splash/Bash
- Casino Night
- Heather's Camp (summer camp)

HEATHER'S CAMP
Established by the staff of Envision, Via Christi and the sisters of Delta Gamma
Heather's Camp honors the memory of Heather Muller and provideds an opportunity for the blind and visually impaired children to experience camp, acquire skills, gain confidence, find support, and most importantly, have fun.
Heather Muller was born to James and Lois Muller on Spetember 21, 1975. She attended high school at Kapaun Mount Carmel and went on to Wichita State University. Heather was an active member of Delta Gamma. After graduating in May 1988, Heather worked with kids at Rainbows United. She died while pursuing her master's in early childhood special education. Heather would have completed her master's degree in May 2001. She impacted hundreds of people throughout her life. Though she is gone, we know she is present each time a person shows love to a child with disabilities.
